What a special gem of a post! Thank you for inviting me to participate, I had so much fun noodling on the topic and even more fun reading everyone else’s stellar and inspiring predictions! I need to go hunt some secondhand cow print, tacky Italian fashion, a Victoria bag, some power suiting, and some vintage accessories! xoxo
Thank you for this amazing prediction Lindsay! We're all big Loewe and old Celine fans at Future Reference - off to our favorite resale sites to start bookmarking Jonathan Anderson's iconic pieces.
I am so interested to see what he does at Dior, and if he eventually takes over women's..... in the meantime having so much fun going back to some of the 10 year old collections to see how the brand evolved!
These predictions are so on point - I agree with all of them! I have never been a Pucci or Herve Leger girl, but I can't help but feel they're definitely going to have a moment and I want to give them a shot, again!
As one whose fashion sense was formed in the 80’s, this turn of the cycle makes me so happy! I was young and starving then, but through vintage I can go there again (or see someone else in a bandage dress— no one needs me in one!)
I loveeeed your prediction Sogole! First the Juju necklace, then the Victoria, and now Versace. Running to put together my wishlist now before all of the brands you mentioned spike at resale.
I am trying to only shop resale these days. I stick to my staples of vintage blouses and western belts. But I might have to venture out into the luxury resale market as well
That's so kind of you, thank you :) The Frankie Shop has a lot of gorgeous sheer skirt options, too. I'm trying to hold off since I shop secondhand first, but this skirt might be the one that gets me firsthand.
I am absolutely a WESTERN GIRLY - I wish I could go full cowboy (-girl? -person?) on the daily but the amount of side eye I would receive is not worth it... I have a soft spot for the trend because Western's were some of my dad's favorite shows/books. But to balance Western so it's more fashion than camp? Tough stuff!
A good pair of cowboy boots or a suede jacket can be worked into a ton of different outfits. Agree when its multiple it can feel a big camp, but wear what you want! If you want to feel like a you're straight out of a spaghetti western go for it!
So many amazing predictions and so many incredible writers! My resale wishlist is going to be full to the brim with all of these :)

Lindsay, I always love your impeccable merchant POV! I'm going to revisit JA Loewe pieces on TRR now before they start selling down.
Thank you, Tina! I loved reading everyone’s recs, and this was such a good idea for a post!
Thank you Lindsay, so happy to hear that! This is our favorite post at team FR!

Thank you for including me, ladies!!
Thanks so much for your insights Irene! I am a huge jewelry person and the Kallmeyer and Schiaparelli necklaces you shared are stuck in my head.
Thank you for participating Irene! Kallmeyer is a great flag. I’ve love her silhouettes - excited she’s expanding into more jewelry!
Love these maximalist vibes, can’t wait to do some treasure hunting. I’m so ready for statement jewelry to make a comeback!
Yes Melina! It's time for statement jewelry's comeback, the bigger the better.

I know! I'm going to have to to hunt down some tacky prints to go with a colorful Victoria bag this summer :)
LOVE THAT!!!

Vintage blouses and western belts are the best staples! We love your commitment to circularity (and Westernwear).
what a great roundup! i’m also a fellow vintage curator 🫶🏼 love seeing this content here!
We're so glad you enjoyed! Curious what your prediction would be?!
mesh! jewelry! and non-denim bottoms 🫶🏼
Yes to all of these, especially mesh! I'm currently on the lookout for a sheer skirt like the one that Div Ravindran wore here
(https://www.instagram.com/p/DHSwVI6SZdl/?img_index=1) and they're like gold dust at resale rn.
wow that’s stunning! if i find something like that i’ll let you know!

I'm here for your full-on cowboy look Jackie :)
