I love a data deep dive! I have a wedding next month, might need to look at some great midi’s for the bridal shower and have a new item for the summer. Win win!
I find myself avoiding buying during transitional seasons just because it's not front of mind and the style already seem like they're cycling out - how do I get over this mindset and find more incentive to do post-season searching for new pieces!! (Also hard to feel like things aren't 'picked over' by end of season, too)
This is a great question! Timing transitional buys can be tough, especially at firsthand where there is that "picked over" phenomenon since assortments land in stores way ahead of the actual season. I have the best luck with transitional dressing at secondhand since there's so much unique inventory that isn't necessarily trend-based, plus buying during edge seasons means you can usually pick up a great deal. I'm watching the price drop on outerwear I've had in my TRR obsessions for months right now and the price is almost right. Let me know if I can help :)
I'm excited to pull out my midis again this spring - mostly secondhand finds ofc!

You can't go wrong with a midi at a bridal shower! So glad you liked the data deep dive Robyn.
I’m excited about the midis too!
I'm all about the midi for spring!

Secondhand is the way to go! Most of my closet is second hand.
That is amazing Rebecca! Mine is the same :)
