#20 For your consideration 1.27.26
We're not here for resolutions that don't stick. We're here for pieces that do.
New year, new mindset—maybe a new-to-you purchase or two. We're not here for resolutions that don't stick but we are here for pieces that do. With that, introducing For Your Consideration: a new series about the resale finds, the sales, and the brands we think deserve your attention.
Top 10 Future Reference finds
Bally colorblock shearling (38 IT) - If you are looking for a standout coat that will help you brave the blizzard that’s not one of the Nour Hammour ones you see all over your feed, this is it.
Tibi Grey Sid Jeans (28) - An editor favorite, the Sid is one of Tibi’s jean cuts that has stood the test of time. Grey denim is underrated—easier to style than you’d think and a nice break from the usual indigo rotation.
Recycled Tropical Wool Jules Trouser (2S) - A friend told me she wore hers on a transatlantic flight and straight to dinner after. Works for the office, works for the dog park, works when you want to feel put together but sweats aren’t an option.
Khaite Benny Belt in Black/Silver (70) - The kind of belt that will never go out of style. It anchors a look without trying too hard, and you’ll reach for it constantly.
Loewe Suede Flamenco - I’ve been just considering taking this one for myself. The color! I feel like the material is going to be buttery. A clutch for a night out but a crossbody if you need. What more could you want.
Hermes Orange Bric-a-Brac - Lots of new Hermes on the site this week and this cute little bric-a-brac caught our eye. It’s technically a travel case but would definitely work with a summer spritz.
Toteme Leather Chelsea Boots (37) - Excellent condition, a price that made me double-check the listing, and a silhouette that will stay in your closet for years. This is the secondhand find you hope for.
Hermes Kessy loafers - Do I have three pairs of black loafers? Yes. Am I also considering these? Yes. They look practically brand new and the price is an absolute steal.
Prada T-Strap patent kitten heels (40) - These have had some wear—the kind that gives them a little character—and the price reflects it. A classic shape that dresses up jeans or leans into something more polished.
Ganni Patent Leather Eyelet Trim Slingback Flats (37.5) - Ok yeah, really we are on one with the black, but this price is too good to pass up. Ask Tina Boetto how much she loves hers.

Net-a-porter is an extra 20% off sale, including F|R favorites (that’s a curated link) like Dries Van Noten, Toteme, The Row, Tibi, and more. Someone chic who is dreaming of the beach instead of NYC snow picked up these The Row beach sandals ahead of summer. Dries Van Noten has also added more to their sale section, and there’s also a number of pieces still available on sale at Saks post-holidays (who knows for how long given the impending bankruptcy). Whoever picked up these insane flats, I need to see them styled.

Tibi markdowns are going strong, but the new Fundamentals collection also dropped (though the prices seem to be creeping higher and higher). Some favorites we’ve seen repeatedly in the Tibi Shopping Feed are the Sheer Wool Gauze Triple Pleat Pant, Cardigan Stitch Split Front Crewneck Easy Pullover, and these Herbert Loafers in Leopard (a personal favorite). We have some classic Fundamentals available for resale, including the Recycled Tropical Wool Jules Trouser (2), Grey Denim Sid Jean (28S), and Vintage Black Denim Ryder Jean (26R) - if you’re looking for another size, make sure to track it via an ISO.
Re: secondhand gems: We’ve been checking the Tiffany shopping feed as inspiration for secondhand scouring. Think cool silver pendant necklaces, art deco gems, and the infamous Elsa Peretti bean in all its many forms.
The Row is always a secondhand staple for F|R shoppers, and flats and loafers seem to be top of mind. Someone was recently lucky enough to invest in the coveted Margaux 15 new, and it looks like the Banana Bag is still coveted. If you’re searching for these pieces secondhand, make sure to set an ISO alert to be notified if someone lists them.

Name to know: The Anteros
As for new brands, we’re really honing in The Anteros. The mother-daughter founded luxury shirting brand works closely with mills, factories, and pattern-makers to create unique yet wearable shirting for women, hand-crafted in Portugal by a small batch factory using organic cotton from Italian mills.
The brand’s signature is its inventive sleeve details—asymmetrical sleeves with shapes that range from billowing to overly long and narrow — have been worn by some of our favorites like Mimi Nguyen, Angela Galvez , Gabriella Gofis and even Katie Holmes. They also took a practical stance on care: at 100% Italian cotton, the shirts are not meant to be dry cleaned because the chemicals actually shorten fabric’s life, and are machine washable for lower environmental impact.
The above interview from ALK is a good one. They cite Sharon Stone at the Oscars in a white GAP button-down and couture skirt as proof that the right shirt can be just as powerful as any gown.
Lastly, Valentine’s is coming, and how cute is this Judith Leiber L’Amour Petit Coeur Red Bag!! That’s all for now. Let us know what you’re searching for so we can provide some inspiration from our community in the next edition <3

Over 20% of purchases were secondhand is exciting! I bet it’s closer to 30% by the end of the year. The FR community has excellent taste. Thank you for spreading the Ganni buckle ballerina news, I love mine so much - I just hit 125 wears today 🩷
Anteros shirts are sublime!!!
